If your filter is damaged or lost, you can purchase a new one from the Samsung Parts website.

Push where it says “PUSH” on the front of the grease filter case, which is under the microwave’s front, to remove the filter. The filter will release with a click.
Completely remove the filter case.
To remove the plastic from the filter, carefully stretch it away from the element.
Put the grease filter in a sink of hot water with a little dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and shake to dry. Embeded debris can be removed by lightly brushing the filter.
After replacing the filter, slide the plastic case into the microwave’s slot until it clicks into place. Ensure that the word “PUSH” is facing the correct direction.
If the filter reminder is lit, you can reset it after replacing the filter by pressing and holding the 0 button on your microwave.

Clean the Grease Filters (2-filter Models)

At least once every four months, or more frequently as necessary, the grease filters should be taken out and cleaned. Each filter can be removed and replaced using the same procedures; the only difference is the direction in which they lock into place.

Locate the grease filter tab on the microwave’s base.
Use the tab to slide the filter upward to remove it.
Soak the grease filter in hot water and a mild detergent. Shake to dry after thorough rinsing. The filter can be cleaned by lightly brushing the surface.
Slide the filter back into the frame’s left (or right) slot to reinstall it. Push it upwards and to the right (or left) to lock it.
